Your geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) are never transmitted to our servers, never stored in any database, and never shared with third parties.

2. Google AdSense & Cookies

We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements when you visit our website. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites on the Internet. Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), you are asked for consent through a message managed by Google before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time. 3. Local Storage

VitaminDcalc uses your browser's Local Storage solely to remember your preferred language and calculator settings (country/region, skin type, age, BMI category, units and exposed skin area) between visits, and the Service Worker cache to keep a copy of the site's files so it loads faster and works offline. This information stays on your device. VitaminDcalc itself does not set tracking cookies or store personally identifiable information on our servers; advertising cookies are described in section 2.

4. Technical Log Files

Like most web platforms, our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) may log standard technical information, such as IP addresses, browser types, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), and timestamps. This data is not linked to any personally identifiable information and is used exclusively for security, DDoS protection, and site performance monitoring.
